Overview

On January 7, 2026, I contacted Jimmy Mark Demetro at A&J Auto Body Mobile Repair about mobile body repair work on a gray Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 4MATIC in Livermore, California. I sent photographs of the affected areas before the work.

My records show that a repair range of approximately $750 to $950 was discussed and that I paid $1,125 after the work was performed.

On January 8, 2026, I sent a message stating that the trunk area did not appear level with the body line and that a side scratch remained visible. I also sent photographs of the concerns. A reply in the message chain apologized and stated, “I will correct it.”

I continued contacting Jimmy Mark Demetro on multiple documented dates between January 20 and June 8, 2026 about arranging corrective work. In my account, the requested corrective work was not completed. The dispute continued through August 29, 2026, when I requested a refund or reimbursement for correction of the work.

The provider’s position

In later messages, Jimmy Mark Demetro disputed my characterization of the transaction. He stated that the work had been performed, that my father inspected it, and that payment was made afterward. He also stated that payment reflected satisfaction with the work. I disagree with that position because I reported visible concerns the next day and received a response stating that the work would be corrected. This website presents both positions so readers can evaluate the available records themselves.

Personal opinion

Based on my experience, I would not hire this provider again. That is my personal opinion based on the payment, the vehicle condition I observed, the corrective-work communications, and the subsequent dispute described on this site. Readers should review the records and form their own opinions.
